Hi, my name is Patrick Gauthier.
I was hired in April 2022 as the Assistant Manager to work alongside Mitch Tétrault. In September, Mitch announced that he was leaving the golf course to go work at La Broquerie Lumber as their Operations Manager. It was then I got promoted as General Manager. I want to thank Mitch for everything he has taught me this summer and wish him all the best in his new endeavor.
Born and raised in La Broquerie, I’m very passionate about our town and the golf course. I’m the grand child of my late grandparents Aimé and Lucie Gauthier, co-founders of the golf course. I still reside in the RM of La Broquerie with my lovely wife Angie and three boys Christian, Luc and Justin. When I’m not at the golf course I can be found at the arena and or at the baseball diamonds coaching my kids. Prior to joining La Broquerie Golf, I worked at Harvest Honda for over 7 years as the Shop Foreman. The family atmosphere at Harvest Honda made it a great place to work and they treated me and my family like one of theirs and will be missed.
I’m excited to be back working with Darren Dundas, Course Superintendent. I worked with Darren from 2001-2005 as a greenskeeper while studying at Université de Saint-Boniface.
It was fun meeting new customers and getting re-acquainted with our members this summer and I’m looking forward to next year.
Hope to see you again in 2023.
